Ah...I'm still basking in the joy left over from this trip. And I'll torture you all with a slide show of it. heh, thats your warning...flee now while you can. I'm no photographer and I have a crappy camera and I'm scaling all the pics down to fit here...so they probably suck. ~shrugs~

Enjoy ;)

I just like the shadows on the ground and the contrast of the low clouds against the higher clouds.

This is were I exerted myself far too much early in the trip--but I wasn't about to be out-climbed by my aunt and uncle.

Same place, oppisite perspective. That is my aunt in the corner, starting her descent.

Further down the road. A little more badlands color...tan, yellow, red.

Wow. The surprise (for me) of the trip. Nestled into the black hills is this gorgeous lake. Has nice cabins with awesome fireplaces.

A little closer and a little steeper angle. Plus, the sun is just trying to peek out.

Dunno...just like green grass, blue skies, and white clouds. :)

Tower Falls. I would have liked to get the vantage point from the bottom too, but they had the trail closed.

Another beautiful waterfall, but I don't recall the name. Its on the road from the NE entrance to Mammoth Springs.

The infamous Beehive geyser...some moments before providing the most vivid memory of this trip--providing that memory by completely soaking me. :D mmm...smells like sulphur.

Artist Paint Pots....basically boiling mud. I wish I could convey the texture this stuff looked to have...that and the deep bubbling/gurgling/boiling sound it makes.

Geyser...it goes off almost constantly...name escapes me. Its greek for clock water, I think. Something like that. Anyway, nearing sunset.
