He's planning on becoming a lobbyist...a profession much better suited to his morality.
I'm not sure whether to count this resignation as a victory or not. Because, on the one hand, he resigned. Boo. Yah. But on the other hand, it will now make it harder for the Democratic opponent to win, which is the suck. The last thing Texas needs is another Republican congressman...
On a disturbing side note, the bastard is keeping his campaign funding to pay for his legal fees.
On a further side note, how awesome would it be if Kinky Friedman actually wins the Texas gubernatorial race?
