Well, we have changed the usergroups, you may have noticed something. In short, besides the admins, we now have three member groups.

When people register, they will be added to the Apprentice group. Apprentices will be displayed in a brown color. Now this group has fairly limited possibilities. People can post and send pm's, but even that has some limits. The main reason for those limits is to protect this place from spammers and weirdo's.

But luckily people can advance to the Scribe group. The Scribe group has more options and permissions. These people will show up as dark green.

The third group people can advance to is the Enchanter group, and this group has a lot of goodies. They show up in a darkish blue color.

And yup, admins are purple.

Anyway, just a short notice for now so you know why you suddenly have colored usernames and such. More about these things later :)

Apprentice:
can post, start new threads, search the forums and edit their own posts, but not delete. They have 0,1 mb attachment space, and 10 pm's maximum (which includes the sent ones). They can't view people's profiles, can't edit their own and can't post polls, . They can't upload avatars, can't change their title, and can't use signatures, can't view Who's Online

Scribe:
can post, start new threads, search the forums and edit their own posts, but not delete. They have 0,3 mb attachment space, and 50 pm's maximum (which includes the sent ones). They can view people's profiles, can edit their own and can post polls, can upload 70x70 pixel avatars, can change their title, but can't use signatures, can't view Who's Online

Enchanter:
can post, start new threads, search the forums, edit their own posts and delete their own posts. They have 0,75 mb attachment space, and 100 pm's maximum (which includes the sent ones). They can view people's profiles, can edit their own and can post polls, they can upload 100x100 pixel avatars, can change their title, can use signatures, can view Who's Online

And just for the record, if anyone's having any problems, questions, issues with any features you should be able to utilize, or you feel like you want to utilize, please talk to us admins. We are good and fun, and here to help. :)

Those defs are slightly out of date, for instance the avatar restriction has been lifted...
