Objective: Guess what the location of the satellite photo is of.
If people like this then I will display different locations to figure out later.

That's the SkyDome. It was the clue. I just did a search for Domed Stadiums and compared the pictures. Well, the Stadium combined with the big tower next to it.

i'm going to move it to the games forum and give it a tag though.

edit: done, and if you don't like the tag, just let someone know, and it can be changed to something else easily enough.

I'm going to have to award this one to Malcor as his identification is more accurate. The location is Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. It is featured in both Goldeneye and Contact.

ok since no one was able to figure this one out I will let you know what it is. The building off shore is the Burj Al Arab Hotel located in Dubai which is in the United Arab Emirates. It is the only 7 star hotel in the world. New challenge coming soon!
