It was only a backup communication device that failed, so they had me trade planes...the new one had leather seats!...so all was nice, if not delay. ...and Malcor, I just may be here when you get here ;)

Nightfairy::hey kids!!! It's soooooo super grooovy cool having wendy & 77 here, we're having sooo much fun!!! Last night we just danced and danced and danced! and we have some good & fun neighbors camped next to us. They were a little amazed at how we all met but they got over it quickly & then just thought it was cool. then it rained all night and everything got all muddy. but at least it was nice & cool. and now the sun is out again :) and um... yeah, everyone hurry up & get here, we're having too much fun to keep it all to ourselves! ~dances off giddily~

-Australian quarters arent quarters, they're 20 cent peices. and because of them, wendy cannot make American change. so she always pays with bills. so if anyone needs change at the end of the day... ;)
-Violet crumbles arent violet and dont crumble, but boy are they yummy!
-when my internet friends are in front of me irl, I still have the itch to go on the internet
- it's always good to have a boy scout around, you never know when he'll come in handy
- real life hugs are better than internet hugs, but just as spontaneously compelling :D

Wow...I'm not really sure where to begin. I had a very good time and find it much harder to leave (and not just because of the airlines ;) than I would have ever expected.

The city itself...well, its a nice place to visit, but it would be hard for this small town kid to ever live there. In the city, it feels a bit claustrophobic...I'm too used to being able to see the horizen. Plus, there are people everywhere...and there are a bloody lot of them. Even out in the burbs, where it doesnt seem on the surface quite so difference, its still not the same. Its hard to put a finger on exactly, just a different feel. But, all that said, it was all good and there wasn't any real trouble. Fortunately, we had a world traveler to help us find our way around :D

But, the trip was all about the people to me. It was a bit odd to meet people I've talked with so much online in person. But not at all in a bad way. The biggest surprise was how little difference there was between my expectations of the people and the reality. I would have never expected to be so right on, but I'm glad for it. Because nightfairy and soulstealer are both good and fun, sweet, funny, smart, lovely--~coughs and stops gushing~ ;) I think the only surprised I had about those two is that soulstealer is a bit quicker to laugh than I expected and I never would have guessed I would have found nf's laugh to be so beautiful.

~smiles and laughs softly~ Well...I dunno what else to say. Umm...oh yeah. Thank you both for being so sweet and accommodating to this old soul. I don't think I can convey how much I appreciate it. My sword and my service are yours always. ~bows~ ~grins~ ~hugs nightfairy and soulstealer~

And yes, real hugs are so much better than cyber hugs. :D

but geez, the memories. It was a truly momentous weekend. Yay for us!

I'm back home now, and missing everyone every minute. I suppose its good the airport security b*tch interupted our goodbyes...the tears were welling up, and guys aren't supposed to cry for some silly reason...not to mention 5 more minutes and my plane would have left me at the gate (only to sit on the runway for an hour). So I suppose its good we were cut short, but I wanted to say so much more.

speaking of which...satan and i will be driving up to iowa on the 7th.
Cloric and I successfully intercepted epiph and satan on thier way to Iowa at Olive Garden in KC. It was cool, those two are cute and sweet and funny. Seriously, the way they tell stories together...they could make a stage show out of it. :D
