I found this while i was looking for the exact titles of the Chronicles of Narnia books for the fantasy catalogue.

Looks like a movie is in at least pre-production. (whatever that means. :dozey: ) Here are a few useful links regarding this.

www.narnia.com [check out the news links, or the movie section, duh]

http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,2555530a10,00.html

"Walden Media has bought the rights to all seven books in the C. S. Lewis series, known as the Narnia novels. It plans to serialise them into up to five movies at a production cost of about $200m per film."

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0363771 [imdb is always useful. ;) ]

pre-production means that they are talking about making the movie, planning what they will do with it, are attempting to put together financing, looking for actors, or doing any of the myraid of things that need to be done before a movie can be shot, and then after that, edited (preferably by me ;) )

i gather from your dozey that you have some idea that 'preproduction' can mean just about anything.... but though i'd fill in some of the blanks for others. :D

I hope they don't alter the story at all ... that would suck.
