Rien
Human, Male, 5'5", blond hair, blue eyes
Rien usually appears wearing mismatched and heavily patched clothes. A large, serated dagger hangs from his belt on his right side. The sum of the rest of his possesions can be found in a ragged satchel.
Rien is good natured wanderer. His only real talents are his exceptional quickness and blind luck. When he can, he'll entertain on street corners for copper coins (juggling, tumbling, storytelling). When that fails, however, he falls back on picking pockets and other larcenous arts.

Prince Starke is the current prince of Ameloct. He is tall, topping out somewhere around six and half feet and, well, fat, weighing in at over 350lbs. His greasy black hair is usually hidden under the overly elabrate crown of Ameloct. His face is heavily acned and pitted.

Garren is currently the member of the merchants council in Balenoct with the most influence. Highly charismatic, his say weighs quite a lot in deciding city matters.
Of middle age range for the council, he is still a rather old human, somewhere around 70 years old. He still has a powerful voice and presence, in addition to a ready smile. He is by no means exceptionally wealthy, and represents the fishing trade of Balenoct and the surrounding area. He disdains gratuitous displays of wealth, and as such, much of the current style of dress in the city follows his functional ways.
Highly intelligent, Garren often turns the council to his way of thinking without them realizing what he has done. Still, he is not deceitful in his methods, and most who know him have nothing but good things to say of him.

Unique is a smiling and beautiful 22 year old blonde, and the daughter of King Hinglebert and Queen Petunia (lovingly called Queen Putie by the citizens), monarchs of Bloomingdale and the surrounding regions. Many men vie for her hand even though she has a reputation for foolishness. Her love of the colour pink is legendary, and she was once quoted as saying "All a girl needs is a pink ribbon and her purse". She also has a twin sister called Monique and it is not known which is the royal heir to the throne of Bloomingdale. In an attempt to stave off favouritism and provide equality and a measure of safety for her daughters, the Queen refused to reveal who was born first, saying she would reveal the true heir to the throne on the death of her husband. This was a reasonable plan since she was 30 years younger than her husband and deemed she would live longer, however she drowned a year ago when, in an attempt to cure a flair up of acne, she held her face in a bowl of warm rose water too long and drowned. The healer who suggested she do this still feels rather guilty, for not only did the queen die, but it has left the Court in a strange state of political turmoil as The King's health begins to fail and both twins begin to show signs of tension possibly in their desire for the throne.
A lesser known fact is that both the twins were born with special abilities. The first of Unique's own special abilities is that she can at times see the past, and as she grows older she learns more and more control of this ability. The other ability is she can do this really neat trick with ping pong balls, and entertains many at parties with it... by stuffing as many ping pongs balls into her mouth at once. She also becomes more adept at this as she grows older.

Monique, Unique's mirror twin sister, is the wilder of the two. She spends much of her time in the seedier area's of Bloomingdale looking for travelers brave or stupid enough to teach her things such as fighting and pick pocketing. Her love of danger and aggression has led to many scrapes with death in the past, including one which left a small scar under her right eye. It is the only way anyone is ever able to tell the two sisters apart.
Monique posesses the opposite talent that her sister does. She is able to see into the future. Unfortunately, this talent is as chaotic as Monique herself and while the talent is real, Monique has very little control over when or how it will manifest. Her other talent is Solid Gold dancing. She can roll on the floor and do bad 80's dancing with the best of them. Between the solid gold dancing and Unique's ping pong ball trick, the two women have earned quite a reputation in Bloomingdale as being very hard to handle. While men would do most anything for their attentions, the two sisters go through them like paper towels. Often times they are dismissed as petty and clueless, but upon shrewder inspection one might notice that both women are highly intelligent and dangerously manipulative.

Main Char: Irwin Archer
Irwin is a wanderer in search of truth and elightenment. Known now as Archer, his families name since the time of his great grandfathers great grandfather one of the worlds most legendary bowman. He was born in Balenoct, but at 28 this strong-willed human has been almost everywhere, even rumored to have been as far as the lands beyond the Garenheim Mountains. Although not a master, he is handy with a sword and a fierce fighter.
He is above average in height, with hair the color of the noonday sun. He has a strong muscular build and callous-hardened hands. Women are drawn to him because of his charm and beautiful blue eyes which seem to glow when he is angry or empassioned. He is normally dressed in the accepted fashion of the area he is visiting, but is never seen without the silver ring of his ancestors. The ring, containing the image of a Phonenix, was given to him by his mother.
Once a priest, he had dedicated his life to worship of the Gods. Prior to the age of 21, he was hailed as a great religious leader. Near to his 23rd birthday, he lost his faith after his brother Dellin was brutally murdered by worshippers of the God Verlet See.
He was last seen heading south along the Sylverwash River.

Main Character: Stil, a.k.a. Predator
Stil is 5'11'' with short light brown hair and blue eyes. He has a short beard with a lot of grey in it, which makes him look older then he really is. He has a scar over his right eyebrow and another one across his left cheek, from the eye to the corner of the mouth. He is slim and stringy, but nevertheless well muscled. He is about 24 years old (he doesn't know for sure).
Stil is a man of a few words, very few. His face shows little expression. Few people know his real name or anything about his past, so people call him Predator, because to them he resembles one. Horses and other barn animals for some reason are afraid of him. He is a master of hand-to-hand combat and is able to use many weapons. He has a pet bat, who he calls Bat. Stil is an orphan, without a home or a family.

"Troubled"
The barkeep looks down the bar at the man, sitting alone, over a flagon of ale. It was a sight he’d seen hundreds of times. He was not a talkative man nor did he normally care a whit about his customers beyond the color of their coin or the chance for a night of female companionship. And yet, inexplicably, he wanted to go talk to this stranger, to find a way to console him. Nothing seemed separate this customer from any of the others, not his speech, no his clothes, nothing at all—he was completely unremarkable. But, that strange empathy was there…and the man had gold. Pulling a washrag from his belt, the barkeep makes a show wiping off the grimy bar as he slowly moves towards the end of the bar.
Without looking up, the customer mumbles in drunken slur, “G’way.”
Just as the barkeep expected, another fool expecting to find a cure for all ailments at the bottom of bottle, but instead of simply moving away and minding his business as was custom, he hesitantly asks, “What be your trouble, lad?”
The drunken man slowly raises his head from the flagon. When their eyes meet, the barkeep takes an unconscious step backwards. Even through a thick haze of alcohol, the man's blue eyes seemed to see into barkeeps very soul.
The blue eyed man starts to speak, hesitates, and coughs before continuing, his voice gaining clarity and volume. “Trouble? What’s my trouble? Are you sure you want to know? Well, you asked…and I’m telling. My TROUBLE is images, illusions, and specters. If I close my eyes, I see them. Its dark and I’m not alone. A man, a family man is there in the dark, he has his family huddled behind him…and he has a knife on his belt. Phantoms, right? I’m crazy, right? Well, the story ain’t done, LAD. That knife? Its no longer on the man’s belt, its flashing through the air now. Again. And again. That knife is my trouble. This knife.”
The barkeep has survived dozens of fights in his life by being smart and being fast…and a heavy oaken cudgel behind the bar never hurt. But he never realized the drunk was even moving until he held a long, wicked looking knife to his throat—a knife stained with dark, thickening blood. The barkeep stammers, “I-I-I don’t want no trouble.”
Blue-eyes sneers and sheathes the knife before sitting back down and turning his eyes to the ale, “Then don’t ask for what you aren’t prepared to receive.”
The barkeep backs away, cudgel forgotten. Once out of arm’s length, he bolts for the door, crying for the city watch. At the door, he looks back to find the bar empty once again. A single gold coin left on the bar is the only sign that the blue-eyed man even existed. Slowly, the barkeep moves back inside. Warily he picks up the gold coin, wincing as he notices it has a single smear of blood.
*****
Outside, the blue-eyed man shudders. What was wrong with him? He had never hurt anyone, had he?
With a heavy sigh, Rien slips away into the dark.

Marsolus
Marsolus’s past is a tale shrouded beneath a cloak of secrecy woven by the Temple of Derecko. What is known about the man is vague and unreliable at best. Those few who have heard of him claim he is an Enforcer of Order. Enforcers for those familiar with the Dereckoian faith are specially trained members of the Temple who are charged with seeking out agents of disorder. Once found they are duty bound to realign the malefactor back into the pattern – through any means necessary. Rumors abound as to what exactly bringing back into the pattern means, but some say that since death is a fact of life that killing could be in a sense be seen as fixing the pattern. Spokesmen for the Order offer only that they do what's in the best interests of Derecko when inquired as to the methods of their Enforcers.
Yet Marsolus hardly appears as one so inclined to go around killing people left and right. He stands a tall (for a human) 6’3” with what could be a lean, muscular build but is hard to tell underneath his simple robes. He has light brown hair and hazel eyes. Possessing few worldly goods, he contents himself with his finely polished walking staff and book of the Order. Often outwardly appearing meek and good natured, a rare iniquitous smirk sometimes belies his demeanor.

Dari Calher.
Dari is human, 6’3”, has coarse black hair that remains unruly despite all attempts to tame
it and is therefore kept very short. His eyes are blue, fading to grey around the pupils.
As the sixth child of eight born to a minor noble, Dari left home with the idea of joining
the church of Helen See. Fate had other ideas, however, and before he could even
approach the mother temple in Benaloct, he met Andieren, a wizard from the Onimas
tower, who convinced him that a bright young lad would be wasted in the clergy.
With Andieren as his sponsor and mentor, Dari began studying in the Onimas, and is now
nearing his final passage, when he will pass the final tests and become wizard.

Old-man Kreyce was once known as Kreyce the Forseer. He is quite old indeed. He has lost many of his marbles some say. Others are weary of him. He is not a magician nor a warrior nor anything. Just a devote follewer of Naxanor the Guide. At least he used to be.
Decades ago, Kreyce was a high priest of the Temple of Naxanor at some city many leagues away. He was not the head priest by far, but held a respectable post in the glory of Naxanor. That was then. At some point the story goes that Kreyce was stuck out in a storm en route to another Temple of Naxanor. Others say he was kicked out of his old temple. None the less, the story goes that he was on a ship that drifted to close to the Shoals one stormy night. Kreyce was the only one to survive. By the time the storm subsided and he washed up on shore clutching a plank he had gone half mad.
Kreyce claimed that Naxanor came to him and showed him what others refused to see. He went back to his Temple and was pittied and ridiculed behind his back. That was when they started calling him Old-man Kreyce.
But that was many years ago. Presently Kreyce lives in a schack in some remote hills condemned to the life of a hermit. Kreyce sits and waits... waits and watches.

Grangir is a dwarf who works and lives in Darkstone Keep. A master artisan, he works at his forge and sells his hammers, maces, arrowheads, shields and helms at a small, out of the way stall in the Bazaar. He doesn't produce as much as the average dwarf, but makes far more, for his pieces are gifted with magic enhancments.
His family still lives in Darkstone, but he has seperated himself from them, and both are happier for it. His interest in the arcane has caused him no small amount of grief in his personal life, but he can't let it go.
He is practical, for the most part, and yet has a streak of curiosity a mile wide. He is a good person, in his heart, and holds Darkstone Keep, and it's people dear.

Dorian Umbra was born to a moderately wealthy family of Bloomingdale. He had the advantages of an education, though he didn't stay long enough to benefit much from it, and was never wanting for much. Well, never wanting for much except a different life. He was always ill at ease with the nobles, and was never one for the pointless displays of wealth and power that go along with their world. He abhorred the scheming that went along with it, and the constant shifts in hierarchy. It was a badly kept secret that he didn't care for the life, and that he hung out in some of the rougher parts of town. He's met up with Monique more than once in these areas, and had a serious scuffle a time or two with her. The two never got along, probably being too similar to one another for either of them to admit. Dorian is, in fact, responsible for Monique's scar. He bears his trophies from their engagements in far less obvious places. After the last scrape, Dorian left Bloomingdale behind, as nearly blinding a princess of the royal family is not looked upon kindly by the guard.
One step ahead of the gallows by order of the Queen, he fled to Ameloct, a relatively safe haven for the baser elements of the world. He finally found a life that suited him, that of an assassin. Already stealthy and handy with knives from his experiences in Bloomingdale, managed to fend off an assassin his first day in Bloomingdale, one hired by the Queen of Ameloct. Instead of finishing the job, the assassin took a liking to Dorian, and, while reporting him dead to the Queen, took him as an apprentice. Upon his mentor's death, Dorian inherited his twin long daggers. Dull gray, these daggers are extremely hard to see, being slightly out of phase with the rest of the world. In fact, when Dorian has then out and working, most times all that can be seen is the sheen of the black poison that is smeared along the edges. The daggers ignore most armor, and will cut to the flesh of a knight without so much as leaving a dent in his breastplate.
After the Queen's death Dorian returned to Bloomingdale, a place with endless work for those of his chosen profession. Good at what he does, Dorian has earned the nickname Shade. In almost a mockery of his old life, he is invited to gatherings of nobility under the pretense of being from an old Bloomingdale family, but in reality they try to influence him to attack this or that rival. He takes almost perverse delight in this, and usually acts how he wants at these parties, laughing and insulting who he chooses without regard for the power games they play.
He could hardly have returned without contact with the two Princesses of Bloomingdale, and, regret it as he may, he found himself ensnared by Unique. He has become something close to her personal servant, and while he knows he's being used by her, he cannot help himself. A cold truce exists between he and Monique, a tension from their earlier days and only doesn't snap on account of Unique. Dorian is sometimes slow on reaching conclusions, and part of the reason he resented the noble scheming is because he was so bad at the game. This fact has been exploited by the sisters, and he rarely knows the end purpose to what he's doing for them.
Physically Dorian stands below average height for a human, and is slightly built. However, he's very dextrous, and quite fast. He normally is dressed in the clothes of Bloomingdale, fairly nice cut, but not fancy. He always carries his daggers with him, and all of his clothes have black lining. His hair is dark brown, and short. His eyes match it.

Saeran Rose, 6'1", long blonde hair and green hazel eyes.
A renowned smuggler in the Great Sea. He is captain of the ships, Duurian, Luudin, and Edinduur. Bastard son of the Pirate-Lord of Belfas, Rodgen Wolf, he was given Edinduur as a gift when he came of age. His half-brother Donan being the commander of his father's "navy", Saeran was given no other choice but to start his own business. He is known throughout all of Ameloct and the Sylverwash, a hero to the poor peasants of the city, a devil to the merchants and royal family. He has hundreds of freinds, both poor and wealthy. And as many concubines (once again, both poor and wealthy).

Tak Kre'Krumna.
With cold stones beneath his feet he walks insistently. The shadows that flicker through his mind won’t go away, and the cloak wrapped around his body stopped offering warmth long ago. But his internal agonies are well masked, the wind that blasts through him each night merely routine by now. And as it blew hard through his hair he paused, sharp eyes piercing out into the night like a watchman. Looking for something—what, he does not know. With a bitter grin he turns away, arms crossed, he moves on. Nothing is here for him.

Isaac D'Alessio
As a young man he was an avid disciple of Derecko, burying his life in the Book of the Order. Soon the teachings began to pull at him, his life not content to simply soak up the knowledge; so he dedicated himself as an Enforcer of the Order. Years later it took but one look at him in action for it to be clear that Derecko chose him, “writing his plans in Isaac’s side” as the Book of the Order would put it. His head shaved completely, he is average in height. The robe he wears hides his methods of Enforcement; only the Book of the Order is visibly gripped in one hand, a constant reminder of his duty and purpose.
Though he’d never share the thought with others, he often finds himself viewing many of the Enforcers as agents of chaos that one day may need to be stopped.

kiwi is a brave young tortoise creature, captured by goblins years ago and made a slave kiwi escaped and is back on the war path searching for goblins.
kiwi stand roughly 2-3ft tall, he stands on two legs and has big blue eyes that are weird looking but undeniably cute, he wears a helmet at all times and uses it as his primary means of defense/offense, he is both brave and stupid, being one for valour he'll charge into battle without caring, Kiwi has grown used to the heat of battle he doesnt seem to be affected by it anymore, all he sees is more targets, and has an uncanny leg strenght to help him smash into his target or escape when the going get rough.

Not much is known about Selena d'Muerte. She rather likes it that way. She is tall, dark haired, with blue eyes that burn like frozen coals. She always wears black, but it's not exactly a fashion statement, when she was a young, voluptuous teenager, her foster parents had a chastity corset magically bonded to her body. She can't take off the corset, it's a part of her now. But she does wear other clothes over top of it, and since she's been unable to break the spell that keeps her bound in her undergarments, she's given up on men (and women) entirely. Chaste at first by force, she is now chaste by choice.
She come from deep in Narch desert, passed along from one set of parents to the next because of a prophecy that said she would grow to be murderous. No one wanted her much, and she didn't mind, since she didn't want them much either. As she grew up, she learned the arts of war, death, and justice.
One set of her foster parents were minor nobility in Bloomingdale, they thought the prophecy about her was quite novel, as well as her enforced chastity. They sent her to a boarding schol for a brief period of time, where she became acquainted with the Princesses Monique and Unique. They taunted her mercilessly, and she killed her foster parents secretly to escape the cruel games the Princesses played on her. After that, she accepted no more parents, roaming free throughout the world, being mysterious and seeking a way to bring justice back in the world while looking for her birth parents, with whom she has a bone to pick.
She's occasionally seen (by those with good night vision) in the company of a large black panther. She is devastatingly beautiful, and has a weakness for buying weapons. Trackers foolish enough to follow her usually do so by the trail of abandoned swords, generally right before she kills them. She doesn't like to be followed. She does things for her own reasons, and doesn't have many friends.

Andieren is a Mage in the tower of Onimas, and holds the second seat on the Mages council. He is young for such a high post, only thirty but has risen quickly thanks to a quick mind and a natural knack for magic. When he was a relatively new wizard, traveling, he met Dari Calher and brought him to the Onimas. Since then he has married Kiera, and quickly climbed the ladder of authority.
Andieren is 5'9", slightly heavyset but still handsome. Brown eyes and sandy blonde hair grown long down his back. He is good natured, with a ready smile and a deep, heartfelt laugh. Several have wondered why Kiera, a stunning redhead two years his junior married him, though seldom in front of her. Andieren's usual reply is that he takes no offense to it. "After all," he says, "I married up."

Captain Jack Waffles as he would be wont to correct you, is, plain and simple, a pirate. But, as is the case with all that bear a thread woven into the tapestry of time that is brighter than most, he is definitely not normal.
Effeminate, and yet not, he stands at a nice round 6 foot, no more, no less, his build slim, but certainly not weak. His black hair, though probably brown if he had a shower, is loosely curled and hangs almost to his shoulders, though is more often that not tied into a pony tail, with just some curling wisps framing his well structured face. His eyes are brown yet cloudy, meaning either that he is incredibly deep, or, well, incredibly thick. He wears a thin curling moustache below his straight nose, and has a soul patch that more often that not cause women that know no better to fall for him wherever he goes. His dress is somewhat, ahem, eclectic, and his poise would be well placed in court, but is rather peculiar given his chosen profession. In fact, clean him up and place him in the palace, and most would bow to him without hesistation.
A master swordsman, yet by no means the best, it is cunning which is his greatest weapon. His persuasive words could make a politician seem like George W. Bush, his charm could lift the skirts of Selena d'Muerte, and his amazing perceptiveness could see the beauty spot on the inside of Unique's.... However, one must always keep in mind that Jack is a pirate, and so has only three things in mind: treasure, rum, and adventure. Of course, the odd femme fatale would not go astray.
If one were dedicated enough though, Jack Waffles could be killed at the bat of an eyelid. That is, if it wasn't for the fact that Lady Luck seems to be infatuated with this charming miscreant.

Dellin Archer was an amazing young boy, with an incredible spirit and a zest for living he was the type of person that lit up a room when he entered it. He was extremely smart and able to figure out the most complicated puzzles at first glance. With blonde hair and deep blue eyes he was the spitting image of his brother, who he looked up to and loved more than anyone.
He was killed in an attack on his brothers small church just outside of Balenoct at the age of 16. With his face and body horribly scarred this once beautiful young boy haunts his brothers dreams. The question is are they just dreams or do they hide something more?

Samara "call me Sam" Firen has never been particularly beautiful (slightly out of shape, with frizzy brown curls and a nearsighted squint), and has always been particularly awkward, physically as well as socially. She is open and sociable with, and fiercely loyal to, the few friends she's ever managed to make, but those haven't been many. She also has the dubious distinction of being particuarly bad at almost everything an adventurer bothers being good at (a fact evidenced by her botched pickpocketings, ineptitude with weapons, backfired spells, and inability to move silently as a shadow OR as fast as a striking snake).
What she does have going for her is boundless self-confidence, and the fact that she is perhaps the only Bloomingdale resident to have acheived a higher-level education by the age of 12.
She spent all her childhood as a slave in the Bloomingdale city Library under the clerics of Diandra, and when she had learned all she could from their books she decided to buy her way out of slavery. The money for this was gained though some financial transactions of questionable legality over a knowledge-based game- in other words, she was a trivial pursuit shark. That didn't work out so well.
By the age of about 23 she has made her way to Ominas Tower, where she works as a kitchen slave, spending most of her off hours borrowing textbooks and trying to eavesdrop on lectures. Her eventual ambition is to return to Bloomingdale as a freewoman to start her own small business, "Firen's Fact Finders," offering copy editing, tutoring, fact-checking, and reasearch assistance. Like that'll ever happen.

He is a master of deception, gaining the confidence of even the highest of nobles. He lives soley for distruction and pain and the torment of others.
The subject of many rumors, most of which are true, Oke' is lean, strong, quick and wirey and has never been beaten in a fight. A swordsman unlike any other it is believed that he carries a blade forged by his almighty God and that with just one nick the recipient will die a slow and agonizing death. He wears Black Robes that are trimmed blood red with cloth believed dyed in actual human blood. On his left breast is the Symbol of Verlet See (outlined in white of course). The horned mask he wears when performing sacrifices and his other priestly duties has become a subject of urban legend as well.

Because he has nothing to do, he is willing to do many things to entertain himself. Already he has made himselft a hero and a nightmare in Sacnoth, for he would do the dirty work of the highest bidder, and if nobody had any money, he would do decide to do justice. Mirtan Zheglov was a famous treasure hunter and adventurer. He never did it for the money, but for the trill. He was what you call an adrenaline junkie, getting involved in all kinds of dangerous undertakings.
However, his last hunt changed his life forever. That time Mirtan was after the famous Sword of the Kereder. The Sword was created and previously owned by Kereder (hence it's name) - a famous necromancer who died about a thousand years ago. Rumor has it, that the Sword still carries his darkness in it.
Mirtan was not that easily scared by these tales, they just urged him on. He did not stop until he found the Sword in some cave in the Black Mountains; however an accident (or maybe a trap) caused a cave in, so Mirtan was trapped in the caves. He wondered there for days, along in the dark, without any food and very little water. He found another exit, but when he came out, he was not the same person anymore. His friends attributed the changes to the curse of the Sword, which he carried with him from that day on. They questioned his sanity. Now they are all dead.
Mirtan is 6'5'', very well muscled. He was very dark eyes and long raven hair.
The Sword of Kereder is a black Zweihänder. A Zweihänder is a huge two handed sword, the blade about 180 centimeters long. Here's a picture of what it looks like:

Ok, this might help you if you are reading the Stil storyline.
Terek Zwangi was the treasurer of Bloomingdale and one of the richest men in the city. He made his personal fortune not only from bribes, but also though slave trade. He was the largest supplier of slaves to the Bloomingdale Slave market. Not wanting to risk getting formally involved in this illegal entrepreneurship, he sold the obtained slaves to the merchants at the Market, who then resold them to their future masters. Terek was also a big financial contributor to the Temple of Verlet See. He was killed by Stil as an act of revenge.

Enias (EH-NYE-AS)- 1st Marshal of Ehrenhal
Age-31
Race-Human
(as 2nd marshal)
His Deor is based at Elin'dae, east of Arandil. His ward is the Northern and Eastern plains of Ehrenhal. In the event of invasion or the outbreak of war, Enias has charge over all the forces based at Elin'dae, that is usually about seven Deors'.
Following the fall of Eomund, Enias became first marshal, giving him command of all the deors at Arandil also...even though these are depleted, he now commands a total of eleven Deors'.
He is in joint command of the alliance army with the neves general drewski, who are set to oppose the armies of the south should they come north.
He is still badly injured following the battle of Bloomingdale, where he should have been taken by death...though he is a good leader, he has major doubts over what he now faces and believes that victory can only be attained through uniting all the major cities of the north and midlands.

- Kept a slave by her own father; has never known or thought about any other life, and doesn't even really realise she IS a slave...having never known any different, she figures this is how all fathers must treat their daughters
- Has never really had to think for herself, always having been given orders her entire life; her independent thinking has apparently been beaten out of her, but she might surprise you

Cheltar is an elf. To be more precise, he's an elf-mage. He enjoys wandering around in the Sylverwood looking important in his magi-robes and with his staff. He also has quite the workshop in the woods.
However like a typical elf-mage Cheltar appears, however, he is anything but. Born to an important family, many things were expected of Cheltar, and many thought he would turn out to be quite the special individual. Well, those who thought this couldn't have been more wrong. At an early age Cheltar began showing his magical ineptitude. Spells mixed up, things went *fizzlepop!* when they should have gone *meow* and his scrolls were the worst kind of gibberish. The problem wasn't even that things always didn't work. At least that would have been predictable. The problem was that sometimes things didn't work...sometimes they worked....and sometimes they worked horribly well...or failed spectacularly. One might say Cheltar had a bout of premature senility.
However, at present he is tolerated by the elven community. He was given a "workshop" in an out of the way corner of the wood where he would hopefully only hurt himself. A trip to the workshop is like entering some bizarre otherworld. The place is surrounded with telling signs that something just isn't right in the neighborhood. Flowers as big as trees that Cheltar was trying to grow faster, purple grass, and all manner of strange beasts to name just a few of the sights. One never really knows what to expect.
Cheltar believes himself to be an important member of the elven community, despite his relatively young age, based on the fact that they gave him his own laboratory, and attempt to find solutions to problems that he believes are huge issues for the community.
At present he can be found in and around his workshop, obsessed (like many legitimate mages) with the lack of sunlight. (The area has seen a sudden growing population of glowing plants, animals and rocks in recent days.) He always welcomes visitors and is very kind. Just run if he offers to 'magic you up' some tea. ;)

The God Locus has but one disciple, and the Disciple is Sheolin the Shifter
Sheolin is an Archmage, almost devoid of muscle with grey, sallow skin, a full head of pure white hair and a long, thin, white beard. He stands tall at 6'4", but he weights merely 170 lbs. Like all of the followers of Locus, the Disciple clothes himself entirely in browns and blacks, with the Crying Eye of Locus emblazoned upon the hem of his sleeves. [ <o>. ]
Unusually for an "evil-doer" Sheolin the Shifter in an empath, he can feel the thoughts and emotions of those around him, although the power is only useful across very short distances (perhaps 3 yards or so). Sheolin has an uncanny knowledge of the skills of Illusion, Necromancy and Geomancy. He was always a poor student at Summoning, but with the extra 500 years of life his Master has given him thus far he has managed to become adept, though slightly cautious, at calling upon otherworldly demons.
The Prophet of Locus is the supreme commander of the Farlinga, the the Illusion-weaving magi followers of Locus, and resides at the Temple of Locus in the barren Narsh Desert. He is human, despite his god's extension of life far beyond that of of any other mortal. Sheolin's power of Illusion makes him a master of disguise, thus earning him the apellation of "the Shifter". He outstrips the other followers of Locus, and his abilitiy to make people see the worst possible fortune that they can imagine allows him to gain dominance over their fears and their realities.
The Prophet of Locus currently seeks the Creator's Anvil, an amulet that would allow his illusions to gain solidarity and become real. Whether the amulet exists anymore or not is unknow, but it has been rumored of in the dusty lore-tomes of the Temple of Locus.

Victoria Shin is one of a rare race of creatures known as 'Mister Foxes' (see War Races) and currently resides in Bloomingdale. She is of unknown age, though appears to be in her early twenties, and is of average height. She has orange hair, as do all of her race, which reaches a few inches past her shoulders, tell-tale yellowish eyes, small petite nose and a wide smile is usually on her face. She wears, for both practicality and fashion reasons, a long brown leather overcoat, brown cotton pants and high brown leather boots. Her overcoat of course does hide her large, long bushy tail, mostly orange with a white tip which hangs out of a hole in the back of her pants (can't wag it otherwise). Born elsewhere, her reasons for coming to Bloomingdale are as yet unknown. Some might suggest that she is an agent of chaos, a follower of Alazar, but that seems unlikely as both Foxes and Mister Foxes alike are free creatures and not likely to follow anyone. So her reasons are almost certainly her own, though of course that's not to say she wont add to the already rapidly growing levels of chaos in the city. Murderous, viscious, unpredictable, cunning, and indeed, seemingly nothing but a cold-hearted killer, Victoria Shin (who likes to be called Vic for some reason... Vic Shin?) is not one to taken lightly should she be encountered. Laughing at her silly tail is not recommended.

Diomedeis (DIE-OM-EED-EEZ)-Taranos' Champion
Age-30
Race-Human
Believed to be the greatest warrior that ever lived, Diomedeis rose to fame in the Dardenion war, where he gained great glory in defeating the fierce Nyrmidians and the strong Ithini, breaking their lines in many battles and defeating many great warriors in the process of bringing peace to the south, under the rule of Delen'dun and its king. Never defeated in combat, it was believed he was the son of Sankra, having no fathers name attached to his title. In truth, his father was a Nyrmidian warrior who had raped his mother in the sacking of his village during the power struggle of the past. Many wars has he fought, and never has he been defeated.
"many a brave soul has his sword sent to Reis"
During the battle of Bloomingdale, Diomedeis captured the scrolls of Alazar, through its texts which were similar to that of the sacnoth dialect, he learned of the dreadful past and what was soon to come in the future also.
Returning to his lands in the south, he woke the god he learned to be there, Taranos. In a mere three days, Diomedeis brought the cities of Numenial, Ithini and Delen'dun under the gods control.
In the meeting with the king of Delen'dun, it was first witnessed that Diomedeis was no longer Delen'duns champion but Taranos', no longer did the mighty dardenion wear the armour of the dardenions, but that of Taranos' elite, something close to the black clad Nyrmidian armour, it was however no longer bronze...but darkened steel. The black cloak he wears now bears the blood red horned skull of Taranos.

Name: Unknown
Age: Somewhere in mid 20's
Location: In a forest clearing somewhere.
Bio: He suffered a head injury he suspects was probably due to a robbery. He woke up in what he thought was one forest with no money or supplies. He tripped, hitting his head again, and woke up in a completely different forest. He stumbled upon an abandoned cabin with a coat of arms that vaguely resembles a crude bronze signet ring on his right hand. The cabin looked to have fallen into disrepair after what seemed several years of collecting dust. Over the past few months, he fixed up the cabin and made it a liveable place. His head injury has stabalized, but he trusts no memory he has from before he woke up in the clearing.
One day, Clara knocked on the door to his cabin. She informed him that he was the elder son of King Kongmar, who was not named heir that he might serve Dereko as a priest in order to fulfill a prophesy. He was also informed that it was a magic spell that robbed him of his memories. He, of course, doesn't know who cast the spell, nor does he know he hadn't taken the vows to become a priest.

He is good to his men and the residents of Bloomingdale, though he is in a high position he is fair but strong with troublemakers and doesn't jump to conclusions straight away.
Highly respected by not just the residents of Bloomingdale but by outsiders also, he is a masterful tactician and a fair fighter.
(he does not however have command over the Royal Guard, for they answer only to the princesses now)

Servants hear things. And see things. And most importantly, they have a tendency to be just about everywhere. And they pop up randomly. Use as needed, but don't abuse. :)
(unless anyone has a problem with this idea, which i thought was kind of amusing, and could serve as a deus ex machina when needed. a way of getting information to characters who might not otherwise have gotten it, and/or comic relief, etc. )

I can't say that the Reaper is alive in the typical meaning of the word. He is a spirit from the underworld who was knocked into our world during a fight with Mirtan. In our world he appeared with some kind of flesh. The Reaper now has to obey the laws of nature. Some of his abilities still work, others do not. He will have to discover it along the way. Also, he has no knowledge of our world whatsoever. He has not been there before.
In the underworld the Reaper fought those who tried to resist death. There are no more Reapers and his inability to perform his duties will cause "miraculous" recovering among some of the mortally wounded.

Monty & Winston
Severely mismatched duo, bound by some vague quest. Monty a foul-tempered, violent drunk from a distant land. Winston a frail and elegant intellectual. Also from a distant land. But not the same distant land, OK?

Shandra Moonfyre
This is the semi-mysterious ambassador from Ameloct
Shandra is a tall, slender woman. Her slightly upturned eyes and delicate features hint at elven heritage some generations ago.
She has a fiery, dangerous temper matched only by her fiery red hair. Her grey eyes seem to have small dark motes...appearing much as the full moon does in the sky.
She wears dresses fitting her station, but little other adornments outside of a pair of silver armbands.
Has dabbled in magics far beyond her capabilities, leaving burn scars on her back.

An offworlder, fiery ash and molten minerals of its home worlds core, an unknown species destroyed Mehnu's world as ee of Mehnu was going through the ealiest stages of development luckily as fate would have it, it became aware of itself as the world was crumbling and the surface anihlated. Clinging to a small peice of rock Mehnu was able to drift to the planet that the War takes place on.
Its available defenses at the moment are only the grabbing arms that inject a paralyzing fluid into prey. It communcates thru telepathy though it may try to kill you if your mind is far too complex to understand. Morphing usually occurs every five to seven weeks.

"Quinn" a name given to him by slavers who called him that based on his race
Quinn is a 7' male peloquinn, with a muscular frame and practically no visible body fat. His skin is a deep brownish red or russet and his dreadlocks (which are normally tied back are a slightly brighter red than his skin. His reptilian eyes are sky-blue. Due to a peloquinn's tolerance of pain he adorns himself with various body piercings on his pointed ears and chest. His teeth are all sharpened and the talons on his large hands are black. He prefers to wear little except breaches and boots and usually carries a large weapon such as an axe, hammer or broadsword.
Quinn was captured by slavers who dealt in gladiators and spent 5 years as a gladiator winning practically every fight. Now he seeks passage home and will join a cause that can provide him with said passage. He longs to get back to his 4 children, who were all begotten from different mothers (which is taboo due to his race's 'lifemate' mentality) Though usually gruff and angry and seemingly stupid, he has a sense of honor and usually finds himself trying to do good. His largest flaw however is the opposite sex. He can never really turn down a beautiful woman who offers herself to him which has gotten him into more trouble than he could possibly imagine (how do you think he became a gladiator?).
Quinn also "suffers" from visions of things that are or are to come. This usually comes in the form of "telepathic" messages or realistic hallucinations of what is about to happen. He hates these visions seeing himself more of a warrior not worthy of these powers because he does not know what to do with them. He also requires large amounts of raw meat to sustain himself and worries tha the day may come when he loses control and feeds off a person (a sentient being of any race)
