Quick question though

Does anyone know why I can't view my profile?
You're still a very junior member. After a fairly short time here (and a fairly small number of posts), you should be able to do basic things - view profiles and the like. As you stay here longer, you'll get to do more and more neat things. Stick around....

I was reading a book and one of the characters name was Toilken cause his parents turned all hippy and gave themselves names from Toilkens books but named their 4 year old child Toilken then the parents became unhippy and changed back to their reg names but Toilken kept his name cause he was used to it. Somehow I cant imagine anybody naming their child legolas but hey Gwyneth named his girl Apple so anything is possible.

Somehow I cant imagine anybody naming their child legolas but hey Gwyneth named his girl Apple so anything is possible.
Actually, little known fact here but John & Michelle Phillips (of The Mamas & Papas fame) named their child God.

I knew this and for a while it confounded me why I was unable to find any info on what happened to a child named God.

Finally I discovered that they came to their senses and renamed their child. Her name is China. China Phillips, of Wilson Phillips fame, also married to one of the Baldwin boys, I forget which, they all look alike to me.

Ok, to be fair, it was either China or her sister Bijou, but I'm pretty sure it was the firstborn they named God. Hippies are weird folks. :rolleyes:

With China Phillips her mother wanted to name her India and her father said if youre going to name her after a country it should be China. I read that many many years ago in a issue of Sassy Magazine.

Yeah I got a subscription when it first came out and I loved it but then I grew out of it. Jane Pratt is now the editor for Jane and its kinda like Sassy for adults but I cant really get into it.
