So...I'm beyond stoked at this point. I actually get that fluttery, anxious sort of thrill going at least once a day when I realize where I'll be by the end of next week. I didn't think there was any possible way I could be happier...and then I got my ticket to see Mumford & Sons in Indiana on the Monday after Bonnaroo. So...just in case you missed it...by June 15th, I'll have seen Mumford & Sons 5 times in a matter of three weeks. Cleveland, Columbus, Chicago, Bonnaroo & Indiana. :-) Fuck. Yes.

One huge thing that I hadn't done yet was buy wellies. I finally got rid of my old pair YEARS ago because I was tired of them and they smelled horrendous. Since then, I've been on the lookout for a pair that I LOVED. I found them once in NYC at Ricky's for 50 bucks. They were hot pink and shaped like cowboy boots. But I didn't have the money and Matt refused to buy them for me. I found another pair recently that I really loved. But they were on ebay and I'm just not comfortable enough with ebay yet to go about buying shoes. FINALLY, today I sat out on a hunt to find some wellies at a reasonable price. I succeeded. That's right: Those boots look like Chuck Taylors. I've been looking for something more in the yellow family, to go with my yellow slicker. But I saw these and they were too spectacular to pass up. Plus, with all the discounts, I scored them for $24. That's definitely more my price range seeing as how I went over my budget in Chicago.

I'm working with about $100 bucks for gas and $100 bucks for..anything else I might need. I DO get paid while at Bonnaroo. But, pretty much all of my bills will be due with that check so I can't rely on it too much. Budgets suck. I just keep telling myself (and the 'rents) that in a couple short months, I'll be back in school and my student loans will leave me with a little bit of freed up money to help pay down (and, eventually, off) my credit cards (again). Plus-I'll be in school! So...money sucks. But life is good.

And, you know, I'll take piss poor but having fun over tons of money in savings and too afraid to spend it ANY DAY.

I need to go crop some old jeans into shorts.
