let's not go entirely crazy here... not all smilies will be added, with no offense intended to the makers. depending on nf, either the yawning one from or the old yawning one will most likely get the ax. Speaking for myself here, i'm generally against novelty smilies with no real use. Cowboy has no real use, and the sick one is borderline, imo. If you want something added, make a case for it.

I like the new yawn because it shows the face tired and then yawn, unlike the old one where its mouth is always opened which could mean its arch getting ready to eat a popcicle.

The sick one is a good one too, cause what if I want to convey that what somebody said make me want to hurl. So instead of saying ewwwwwwww, thats disgusting, Arch! I want to hurl! Now I can just respond to arch by going and it would convey all that I feel with just one icon.

I with you on this one, arch. We only need smileys that bear some sort of purpose in communicating things that we're too lazy to type or emphasizing what we have typed.

And is :o really supposed to be a yawn? I've never seen it that way. In fact I've never really known what the heck it is or what it's for. And I hardly ever see it used. I'd say give it the heave-ho.

and yeah, I agree, lets kick the old, unused smilies to the curb and bring in some new useful ones. I've been saying for like a year that we need a fred smilie. Lets get a disapproval one too, the grumbles doesnt look disapproving to me, it just looks awsomely grumpy.

I say we get rid of the thumbs up & down, we hardly use them. IMO, the and can go, too, but I know some people use them on occasion. I dont think they're used enough to merit usefulness, tho. The new green one? Meh, I dont care for it. I'd rather just say eeewwww. The :broken: smilie never worked for me, either, I never really see a context for it.

The new :monacle: smilie is awesome, but since to me, it only means Quirky, I dont see a need for it to be anything other than QT's avatar.
