Okay, usually I can figure stuff out on my own, but I can't figure out how to shrink the file size on an animated gif to use as an avy. It's probly so simple I'll be mad when I learn how, but someone...HELP!

You need a gif animator.

I don't know of any free ones off hand (prolly could search google easily enough though) but I offer my services if you want

Stick some foil on it.. that always helps me.

Check and see if your Photoshop came bundled with a program called ImageReady.

If it did, just open your GIF in ImageReady and use the Image > Image Size (just like in Photoshop) to make it whatever size you want.

if you're talking about dimensions, that can handle it easy. file size, dunno.

I have image ready and I know how to crop the image and save it. I want to know how to actually make the file itself smaller. As in kilobytes-wise.

Easiest way is to cull the animation as in remove some frames. The next best way is to save it with less resolution, colors, etc.

Well I got it down to 50 kb and it was barely recognizable, don't want to go for 20 kb, so meh...
