This is a brief description of how most humans measure time.

    60 seconds in a minute
    60 minutes in an hour
    24 hours in a day
    10 days in a week
    3 weeks in a month
    12 months in a year

    The current year is 1764

Each new year begins on the spring equinox.

    The months are:

    Alazarota
    Corazorota
    Summer
    Helenarota
    Hayalerota
    Autumn
    Derecrota
    Tararota
    Winter
    Varlerota
    Persiarota
    Knight-errant of Carealot
    Soulstealer's old (and reigning) archnemesis
~has a Star at the center of his universe~
    The Hermit in the Tower
    The Fool's mostly stable sidekick

    Default M-O-O-N, that spells moon

The moon is called Reis' eye, after the god of death. A full moon is considered by superstitious folk to be bad luck, a time when assassins and werewolves thrive. The moon appears in the night sky as a gray orb that waxes and wanes through the year. It is followed in the sky by a curious afterimage of itself. The after image is always full, though its brightness depends on the waxing of Reis. When the moon is full, the afterimage is at its brightest, giving the appearance of two moons and when Reis new, it appears only faintly.

The moon is full on the night between the last day of one month and the first of the next.

The sun is also known as Naxanor's Steed.
