    Exclamation War Rules

    1. The current story thread is in character only. Short Out Of Character notes can be added to the end of a post. These should be short (No more the a couple sentances) and should directly relate to the story/plot directions. Also, please clearly label such comments.

    This would be good:
[OOC: If it wasn't clear, my character is moving into a trap--feel free to rescue him]

    This, not so much :
HAH! This reminds me of this one time, at band camp...

    2. Posts should be made in 3rd person narrative and be a minimum of four sentences or something close. There is no hard limit on the maximum you can write, but you are encourage to keep posts relatively short to allow other posters to respond.

    3. For each week in real time at least one day in game time will pass but no more than ten days. If you are ahead of the other posters, try not to run time too far away and if you are behind try to catch up. Label posts with a timestamp to aid in temporal continuity.

    4. If a post contradicts another, the post with the earliest [vbulletin]timestamp will be considered canon and will invalidate the later post which should be edited to comply as soon as possible.

    5. A player is allowed a maximum of three characters, no more than two of which may be allied.

    6. No character is allowed omniscience, omnipotence, or invulnerability.

    7. A player must not write another player’s character in a way that deviates from what that character’s owner has presented that character as being.

    8. A player must not kill (or resurrect) another player’s character without their consent--world characters are far game, but be reasonable about it.

    9. Please use one of the reply buttons on the post you are responding to when posting in the story thread. This will allow the "Hybrid" and "Threaded" views to depict an accurate path through the story lines, which may be useful as the plot grows in complexity.
