I could out-lazy you on the laziest day of your life even if you had a dandified 'lectric lazing machine. I am a public servant.

Today I went on adventure with my brother to a yarn store that is going out of business. We thought that maybe she'd want to sell her company to us. Turns out she might, but not the name, or the location, or the major piece of equipment. So, I don't know, she's selling... her inventory? Not really a deal. We could buy inventory anywhere. And also find a new location and name. Without dealing with her. Who is kinda bitchy and not really super pleasant

Arianna, I went to your wedding site. It looks great! looks like it'll be a great party. I mostly responded to say that the pic of you guys behind the red umbrella is wonderful. kudos to the photographer.

Thanks! She did a wonderful job. she managed to make us look like semi attractive normal people. and that is quite a feat


In other news... I have been drinking again. and I want to go traveling. back to the czech republic, maybe? can we have a quillfest there?

The other day chrono was feeding The Boy & he told me he thinks somehow The Gods are messing with us & gave us arch's child. He is like a bottomless pit. I keep saying he's part goat because he thinks everything in creation is meant either to be climbed or eaten. He will eat anything but paper (and books) is his favorite.

I find that people who were "shocked" by it bemusing though. She was hardly a candidate for a long and happy life.

Not to mention those saying "she died before her time". Actually, her time has long since passed. She trashed the only reason people paid any attention to her with drugs, and then years later, she died. I mean... yeah, my care factor is pretty low. Had this happened 15 years ago, maybe I'd have been shocked, surprised, saddened, or otherwise cared, but I'm basically soulless, so I don't care.

Sad for her drug dealer. I'm sure he made a lot of money off her. ~shrugs~

In other news: Breaking Bad. I just finished season 3 and man, does this show rock my universe. Consistently shaking things up and breaking expectations. So many awesome characters.

hah, I risked it & shared my apathy on Facebook. I'm quite certain I offended some people. (Which is why I try to keep my Facebook "friend"list small). I do feel bad for her daughter and yes, it's sad when anyone dies so young but it is really no sadder than what she's done to her life the past decade or two. I actually feel a little sadder for Bobby Brown, you know he's been getting the blame for Whitney's choices for ages now as it is. Anita, you ARE evil for sympathizing with her drug dealer! Too funny! Love it!

In related news, I didn't watch the Grammy's but saw on Yahoo just the end of Jennifer Hudson doing, "I will always love you" as tribute to Whitney. Then I read the comments from Yahoo users. LMAO! SOOO many people were all, "She's no Whitney, you can't compare to the original. The original was the best version...." yadda yadda yadda.... You bloody idiots, the original was penned & performed by Dolly Parton. Stupid humans.

I muted it during J-Hud. I have a really strange hatred for her sound.

The whole thing sort of sucked, honestly (and not just because my boys didn't win any of their four awards). The highlights for me were: Adele (always), Foo Fighters (twice!) and Paul McCartney's finale with 'Golden Slumbers.' One of my favorite songs. Plus, there was this strange, alternating guitar solo thing at the end the featured the McCartney, The Boss, Dave Grohl (I love that man SO BAD!) and a few more.

The rest of it was awful. Seriously.

And Rihanna was wearing black lipstick to perform with Coldplay. Does she think that makes her more "rock?" ...And, furthermore, does she think that Coldplay is rock?

Ok. I know that many of you will have coronary when you hear this news....but....I am going to announce in my first post in like a year....I am getting married to my lovely filipina Leah on June 16th in Manila. Sadly I know many or probably none of you can attend. Now if any of you just happen to be in Manila around that time you are definately invited, as my side of the church will be empty. Some of you will be stunned that I am still alive, and even more announcing this but...there you go. I will post pics. Promise.

Oh Congratulations Nacht =) That is great news. What is she like? Does she know about us? Can you talk freely about her? Is she pretty? Will you live in Manila? Is she highly educated? Or not? Does she cook igood food? My experience with all phillipinos is that they pretty much rate food as the most important thing.

I've been a busy beaver the past few years. We have already built a house in the country near a beautiful historic city, Vigan in the province of Ilocos Sur. Its about half a km from the south china sea. We have also bought a condo in Manila in the Mall of Asia complex. She is an RN we met here in Texas while I was here on a traveling assignment. She is an excellent cook. You know how important food is to me. As far as your question about how pretty she is, of course she is. I only associate withe the most beautiful women as all of the Quiller ladies are gorgeous. I think there is a pic of her in my gallery for you to see.
