Anyone play the old board game? I haven't, but recently a group of friends pulled me into this online version. You can see about it at
www.dipbounced.com
Basically a european strategy war game. The fun part is that the online version means that identities are concealed, and communication is not 'intercepted', as it would/could be in the live version. The site is straightforward, and the game is fairly easy to learn. All about how well you make alliances, or betray them at the right time. There is no chance element like dice, as in risk.
I'm playing my first right now, and it's great fun. Only takes a 10 minutes or so every couple days, but i find myself studying the board to find some advantage. Very chesslike, anticipating opponents moves.
Anyway, curious if anyone would be interested to get a quill game going. On the site you should be able to observe games, i can't remember if registering is necessary or not, but it's unobtrusive.
