Welcome to vNES. vNES is a Nintendo Entertainment System emulator programmed in Java, allowing for cross-platform online use in a browser, preferably Mozilla Firefox. To use vNES, you'll need any computer with 192 MB of RAM and a Pentium 3 (or equivalent).

Ironically, I am running Firefox and the Java applet isnt loading properly when I tried Legend of Zelda. Didnt bother trying other games. I have the ROMS for all my childhood played games on my pc and play them at quite often. Some games never get old.

Heh, they haven't got Simons Quest. And no wonder, that game is impossible to beat. Oh, all the frustration that game bred in me. It may be the main reason I'll become a bitter, old man. Nice site though

weird. i haven't had any problems loading any of them up at all, and legend of zelda was one of the first i tried. super mario 3 is particularly good. don't try the barbie game though. heh. what's really amazing to me is that i somehow listened to the same shitty music for hours upon hours. makes me shudder now.

In a sense, they dont make them like they used to.

On a related note, I think Im getting myself a DS Lite for christmas. They are releasing the old school FF games on it.
