Performance

Ok, I need to have some feedback on performance of our site. I know there's been complaints about slowness and whatever, and that should be better now. So, I need to know about performance now, not of last week. How's the site working for you? Better? Slower? Sexier? Any thoughts on this you like to share?

As for the thread, when you say how is it working "now", does 24 hours ago count? Last night (US time), the site was quite a bit sluggish. I don't mind it much though, cause not many people are active anymore. That however, does bother me...

so far today. (I popped in 4x today) its been fast.. I haven't had to wait at all for the pages to load. now if I could only think of something to say.

Anyway, i must say, the site was rather slow yesterday, but as you said, it appears to be faster now.

... Of course this might be caused by the fact that my mind isn't as fast as yesterday.

Need to ponder on that.

it's definately BETTER! Loading Random Stuff is right quick again, which is a big improvement. I did have a slow loadtime for one page, altho not as slow as it's been, and I had one moment when trying to load the new posts page when it got a little frozen and when I got frustrated & hit backspace or something it spazzed for a second and then brought it up anyway, but all in all, things are much better.

Occasional slowness happens for a number of reasons. So be it. Just remember to not hit the backspace too hard. It didn't ask for his existence. And of course you might hurt your finger.
There's going to be some more changes in the next days. I don't expect things to get better! But I don't want to know if things get bad.
