Castle Age

To me this is the perfect quill game, it's fantasy, it's easy, it's quick to play and though you can go solo for alot of it, it's even more fun to play with friends.

Chrono and I both play this game already and i just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in joining us, we could have a quill elite squad to take down dragons, serpents and bosses on our own, heh we could also probably write our successes and failures as we went along as a story here on the quill

This is just a shout to see if there is enough interest in it being worthwhile to form a quill group/guild/whateveruwannacallit to battle and adventure in Castle Age.

It's a free game to play and all you need is a facebook account. If you don't have a facebook account and don't want one, but want to play, just make a front account using your quill name or whatever you want to use and use an email account you never use.

I just think if ever there was a game for the quill, this would be it, it's free to play and in a genre we all like.

So yay, nay or maybe? Questions? Suggestions?

Yeah, the thing that pisses me off with facebook games is the whole, hey, get a friend to sign up to unlock content/accomplish something/whatever. It's also really bad when the game is like, hey, give me your email and you can do X.

Yeah I hated that too, to do well in invasions and raids you need an army and that can only be amassed by adding folk to your fb profile...but then i discovered that you can just put all the folk in a not a real friend folder and they can't see or post anything on your profile and then simply add them in the game, then delete them from your profile and they stay in your army. I currently have an army of 120 folk and only the most recent 40 odd are in my friends list but only two of them have access to my profile (my asian hottie captains bwahaha)...but yeah, that not a trouble anymore.

I have a fb account, and I detest the sort of mechanics arch describes. There are so many awesome games out there, why bother. Cyph, if you start playing LoL, add me to your buddy list so we can arena together. My tag on there is Luciusfoxx, I'm usually on around midnight EST and play for about an hour or so.

Bah, at midnight EST, I'm sleeping! except on wed/thu, still WoW some, but only really log on for raids until account expires in july.

well i checked out League of Legends...ummm to me it's like a more childish and cartoony version of warcraft..and here i thought warcraft was too cartoony...plus i hate that kind of game, visually it's crappy and gamewise it's really unappealing.

As to the grumbles about CA, well you don't need to hand over your email from what i recall, i don't get any messages or spam from it anyways...

Not needed, if you want to build an army so as to invade (a very small part of the game) just add some players to the game and remove them from your fb...you can have an army of 501 other players and only 2 fb friends.

meh this was just a shout to see if anyone wanted to join in, i reckon in a week or so my army is gonna be full so i'm likely not gonna be an ally to you if you join later down the line.

Apoc, I'm not going argue with you bro. If you don't know or appreciate what DotA style games are it's honestly your loss. And I've played games like Castle Age, without the friend adding nonsene (like Lord of Ultima), they don't do it for me in general, and I reaaaally don't like facebook. So that's two strikes.
