If y'all want to sell one, I'd be glad to pay premium... I NEED a complete collection... well, that, and my dining room table wobbles...

No, I almost always forget about those... I suppose when I find them, they'll be the only paperbacks I own from the series... I used to have the free advance mini book of the first 18 chapters from EotW, but I lent it out about 10 years ago to a co-worker, who then quit/got fired, and I never got it back.

I got it as a gift when it came out (I asked for it). I think I looked at it once or twice, thought "wow, I could draw better than that", stuffed it on my shelf, and more or less forgot about it.

But once a book hits my shelf, it stays there, for the most part. It might get relegated to a storage crate, but I loathe departing with my books, even the ones I loathe. (though the decision to turf all my Terry Goodkind books was pretty easy, actually.) It's one of the more difficult parts of any move.

Anita, I have the same problem... but I need help discarding the Terry Goodkind books. Even though I really really hates them, they're still sitting there on the shelf. I think part of the problem is that I don't even feel right giving them to someone or donating them. They just belong in the trash.

Amen to that. I just hope that, some day in the future, I'll have a nephew that enjoys to read but that I don't really like that much

Just put them next to a dumpster. If a hobo picks them up, it's not like he's going to be any worse off.
