High: was offered co-op at Cincinnai bell, so I wont be going to classes this quarter

low: one of my friends from back in the day day, his mom has cancer and his dad just had a heart attack. ugh. just thinking about it makes me angry. at what, I don't know. this whole situation i guess. If any of you pray, please do. thanks

*laughs* Ah, the wonders of Band-Aids. *fond memories* Actually, there is something good about my dress - it makes me look a little elfy, but that's not the main thing. The bestest thing is that I can run in it! WOO! A semi-practical dress! I never thought I'd type those words... scary.

HIGH: My office's former publicist, the very bubbly and much beloved Michaela, stopped by today with a huge bag full of various and assundry bagels. Joe (my fellow designer) and I used her visit as an excuse to sluff off most the day, and we rode in her Jetta with the top down to the waterside and just sat around chatting in the cool breeze under a clear blue sky.

LOW: I starting feeling sick in the tummy at church tonight, and I missed most of my mom's teaching because I was in the bathroom.

high: another student bribed us today for extra computer time (which we give anyway

) with yummy yummy muffins! it's the second such bribe we've recieved all week (the first being giant bags of candy) and we fully endorse such activities.

My high for today was when I was in the gym and increased the amount of weight I am able to lift. Also when people came up to me and said that I looked like I was loosing weight. Guess that means the diet is working.

My low is my dad will be facing his fourth back surgery and he is going to have to have it a KU med center. So any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Low- I got 75% on my biology test (that teacher does not teach us anything. she hands out the books and says 'take notes on chapter 4 today and tomorrow, and you'll have a test/quiz the day after that')
