Quirk is right. I figured we have something like city-states. There is not enough space on the map to have empires (although I'm not sure what the scale is).

i think we determined that it's exactly what KA said, more of a city-state type of thing, some cities just having some sort of extended influence around themselves.

i think the system works well enough....

and i can't remember the scale malcor and i were talking about...where was that? i thought malcor maybe posted it somewhere abouts...

er...that would be bad form. If you stuck in somebody else's story line, you just need to write yourself out and move on, I think.

How is 7000 too much? That is my entire military in the event of a war. The scale is 100 miles an inch! I was meaning it to be quite small to the other nations forces. That number is spread out across my entire land, it is actually a small force compared to others I'm sure. My entire population is only about 25,000. I would imagine there would be vastly more people in one city than populates my entire land.

And yes, Rohan was obviously a major influence except the Rohan forces in total were almost 13,000, 6,000 of which went to the aid of Gondor. So how is 7,000 too much?

How big are other peoples military anyway?

Ok, first of all none of us actually has a military (well, except wendy and Tatum, but that's never mentioned).
Why is it too much? Simple math my friend. You area is no more then 100x200 miles. That means that with a population of 25000 your minimal population density is 1.25. That is a bit much for horse lords.

I will change it, in a mo. It didn't seem that much, but I guess your right. Why is there such a limited military in this WAR?
I will change it to two thousand, is that more reasonable?
