That 4th book needs to hurry up, right now its on reserve coming to my Taji address, but if it takes too much longer I'm gonna have to change it to go to my parents address, in which case I probably won't get to read it until March, assuming its even out by then.

Ok, new news on Feast For Crows is up at GRRM's website, yet not what we all hoped for...yes he has been continuing and rewriting, though his commitments have slowed him somewhat and for that he apologises, but he is deeply upset over bush winning the election and has basically posted a very truthful rant of how upset its made him...I just hope this makes the book better, for I believe that writing with the anger that he seems to be emitting will make crows better...well I hope it does anyway.

heh, new news on grrm's website....well not news really, just a response to his last rant about the election in the Feast For Crows bit ~shakes head slowly~ people just can't take a differing opinion can they ~sighs~ but I guess he should of vented his feelings elsewhere on his site rather than the update his fans always check on...silly man hehe

Anyway, no real report on FfC other than a belief that he will be finished before the years end

Ummm, again apparent new news that isn't that new has surfaced on grrm's website...a new sample chapter...though its been up before...its a Daenerys chapter but what is new is a picture of dany about half way down the page...very cool but again...nothing really new going on ~sighs~

That portrait of Daenarys is from here... http://amoka.net/eng/gal/ ....some really great portraits there. Apparently GRRM has taken notice of this guy's art and contacted him with suggestions and feedback.

and i really like GRRM's statement this time, if possible, even more than the first post election one.

it has been tough, but that's the way i function. i don't think i'd like it as much if i'd already read so much. ~shrugs~

I've done the same thing... but I think the restraining is more limited time on the computer than wanting a surprise from the book itself
