    Arrow War Bestiary

This thread is to be a list of the animals and beasties that inhabit our world (the pretend world I mean) and descriptions of them. Any living thing that doesn't fit into "War Races" can go here. I will add links if anyone else decides to post creatures, or if you have admin powers you can do it yourself if you like.

    Ahuizotl (ah-weet-zo-tl):

A black, scaly creature, roughly the size of a large dog. Has a flat shaped head, with long needle-like teeth, red eyes and four legs, each with five sharp claws about two inches long. It's tail serves as an extra appendage, having a claw-like hand on the end of it. Lives in the Grinheim Mountains, in lakes and springs and in the rivers of which these bodies of water are the source. The Ahuizotl is greatly feared as an eater of human flesh, but due to a lack of humans in the mountains it mostly eats wild goat and the like. It particularly likes eyes, teeth and nails. Being a water creature, it uses its tail-hand to snatch victims walking too close to the water's edge. Sometimes, when it spots a man or women, it will cry and when the person comes near it to see what is wrong, it grabs them. Can live on land as well but will not do so voluntarily.

    Helekiri (hel-i-kiree)
called- three horns, or grey bulls also.
A cross between a bull and a rhino, these creatures are smart but otherwise peaceful, they graze in the plains south west of Delen'dun on the western borders of the Narch Desert.

They are territorial animals however, if you get too close, you had better be able to run fast. It is rumoured that the elders of these creatures can talk, but that has yet to be seen. All that is truly known is-though big and strong they are incredibly smart. Problem solving smart.

(Anyone seen Princess Mononoke or read lotr- they are like Gwahir the eagle and ummm that Boar God dude)

    Seven bird or Reemray

A rather small bird that has (count 'em) seven wings. It's considered good luck to see one, and very bad luck to kill one. They come in a variety of colors (food sold seperately).
