I was totally just gonna say what Fuschia just said! Seriously Awesome!

Now if you could just combine your two loves, books and eating, and convince all Libraries that they should have lunchrooms, it would make my life so much easier. My kids LOVE being at the library but we can't eat there so if it's lunchtime we have to leave and they get so upset.

Funny thing, tho, The Boy is finally getting out of the whole eating-of-books thing. He's finally starting to actually flip through them (I LOVE getting photos of both kids sitting flipping through books, each in their own little world, even tho neither can read yet) but he LOVES to take ALL his (and her) books off the shelf. Just the other day we were at the libarary and he was out of the stroller and he ALL of a sudden realized what all the "walls" were made of! Just lots and lots of bookshelves! He immediately started excitedly throwing books off the shelf, while I was maniacally trying to replace them all before the whole shelf came down and simultaneously whispering to him in a "Serious" voice to STOP IT!!!!

In other news: Is anyone watching New Girl on TV? It's like the only TV I watch, that and reruns of Big Bang Theory, and it's SOOO funny!

Well, i still have to take my teaching certification tests, but I'll hopefully be in a K-12 school library. At least in New York, you have to be a certified teacher to be a school librarian. Technically I went through the school library media specialist path of the degree. Though, honestly, I'm pretty open to finding a job in any kind of library at the moment.

I suggest showing up to work every day dressed as Conan the Librarian. Threaten people if they show a lack of knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System. Hack them in half if their books are returned late. Honestly, it's the only way kids learn these days. I read it on a blog somewhere...

so the song came on the radio the other day and Gwen's all, "I like this song!"
and I'm all, "A lot of people do, it's a very popular song. It's by Queen." (She knows Queen)
and she's all, "No, it's not."
so of course I'm, "Yes, it is. It's Queen, with Freddie Mercury."
and she's adamant, "No, it's not, it's The Muppets. I saw it on the computer the other day."

YES! I love it so much! I know she's basically playing the same slightly awkward character that she always plays...but that's because it's a great one. The whole cast is hysterical.

So I havent been on in awhile and I just read the movie of my love life and such. Love you all!!!
In regards to Portland, it doesnt snow that much, it has a TON of micro breweries one of the best book stores EVER and we should totally have a quillfest there cause its only an hour plane ride for me!!! It also has a great transit system and bicycle and pedestrian friendly.

I watch The New Girl occasionally, when I'm at a friend's house (the only 2 channels I get are CBS and KERA). It's pretty funny and has actually made me tolerate Zooey Deschanel. Like Fizz said, she's always just "so quirky" and everyone loves it and thinks she's special, so she's kind of rubbed me the wrong way ...Though I did love Elf And I do follow her on Instagram now.

In other news, I just looked up at the calendar and realized that The Wind Through the Keyhole comes out in less than two weeks! So excited!!! I guess I don't have time to re-read the first 4 books now, though. Now, if only they would start filming... (though of course I would have trepidations, as I do with the Ender's Game movie coming out next year and the possible WoT movie ).

Oh, I looooove them (as evidenced by the first quote in my signature). Of course, there are slow parts and they can be hard to get into, but I honestly feel the same way about Lord of the Rings But my mom is a HUGE Stephen King fan so maybe I have to like the Dark Tower...

On another note, that video is absolutely amazing!! Even though I watched it without sound.
